Self Cleaning Smartglass Blue

Using this product in combination with our Pilkington’s K sideframe glass can create a usable room year round with only minimal heating required during the colder months.

It works by keeping the heat in when cold outside and equally in reverse reflects unwanted sun rays away when it is warm. Our glass has a unique self-cleaning property built in and unlike some glass on the market where a coating is applied to give it an 'easyclean' property, our glass is actually manufactured with this as part of the glass makeup meaning it will do its job as good after 10 years as it will on the day it was installed. Polycarbonate

Polycarbonate is a great alternative roof glazing option if glass is not for you. It is a lightweight material and with its multi-chamber design, offers excellent insulating properties.

Here at Aanco we only supply 35mm thick polycarbonate which is probably the thickest on the market, ensuring heat loss is at a minimum. Like the Smartglass there is also a polycarbonate variety called Heatshield which helps to reflect unwanted sun’s rays away helping to maintain a comfortable temperature level inside.
