Door Locks

Introducing the New Pioneer Stainless Steel Doorlock

Aanco Windows have introduced the NEW Pioneer Doorlock into their hardware range. The stainless steel doorlock offers an extensive range of features and benefits which includes:

Features	Benefit
Stainless steel face plate	Manufactured in 430 grade stainless steel which offers improved strength, corrosion resistance and improved aesthetics.
Stainless steel rolling cams	The two adjustable rolling cams are corrosion resistant and give a tight weather sealing on the locking side of the door. The rolling feature also allows for a light operation on the door handle due to less friction build up.
Stainless steel finger bolt	Matching stainless steel finger bolt - fully adjustable via the keep.
Independent adjustment on keep	Adjustable plates cater for variations in sealing of 1st and 2nd closing door leafs (+/- 2mm).
One piece keep	Allows accurate alignment. The keeps are marked to allow guaranteed alignment with the option to reset on site. (3 piece keep also available).
Anti-saw pins through deadbolt	Eliminates attack on deadbolt.
Opposing Hooks	Increased security against attack opposed to same directional hook bolts.
Sash Lifter option	Unique feature. Maintains correct sash to frame alignment, giving trouble free operation - less call outs for the installer.

Security – positive locking
The S3™ bolt and keep overcomes inbuilt security weaknesses in modern age windows by using ASL (Anti – Slip & Lock) technology. Intruders use the void areas between the glass and the frame itself to lever the frame out of its channel. The S3™ bolt & keep manipulates the intruders strength so that it works against himself.

The S3™ bolt and keep security features:

• The security features lie dormant until the window is under attack.
• Provides security on the hinge side of the window – an area that is over-looked except by thieves.
• On attempted forced entry the hook on the bolt engages in the cutout window in the receiver to form a strong metal to metal connection.
• The greater the pressure an intruder applies, the greater is the resulting resistance to forced entry.

The S3™m bolt and keep improve sash management and sealing by using AST (Advanced Sealing Technology)

The S3™ bolt and keep sealing features:

• A patented sash guidance and locating system for improved window opening reliability and durability
• Adjustable compression features to optimise window gasket compression through the life of a window.
• Controls and balances compression of the window gasket for the exclusion of draughts and noise
• Reduces frame distortion and resulting draught.
